The three-role split (community standard)
Diver
Mornings in the water, evenings prepping and slicing. Skills: oxygen, knife. In one word: hungry. Four-player standard runs two divers; five-player runs three plus chef and host.
Chef
Owns rice temperature, moulding, the service rhythm. Skills: recipe checks. Chef authority peaks during rush — everyone listens (or performs listening).
Host
Greets, runs plates, clears tables, watches patience bars. Skills: traffic prediction. A great host knows the order before the guest sits — behind that page is a death-note of menu memory.
⚓ Two-player: diver+chef dual-classing (mutual rescue at the counter). Solo: all three, plus the sign turned off.
The unwritten law (violations end up on the crew blacklist)
Never sell a teammate's catch
Who caught it, earns it — community law number one. Selling a teammate's fish = stealing wages. Blacklist format: "Name, sold 3 of my bream, Wednesday, video exists".
One waits at 40m
Deep dives require a standby diver at 40m. Not for death (there is none) — for the terrain clip: blackouts below 45m can stick you in geometry, and a teammate body-slams you out.
Ask before sharing oxygen
The shared mouthpiece is a two-person action — do not "kindly" share mid-dive while your partner is at half tank; your relative buoyancy detonates. Say "need it?", let them come over.
Storm loot repairs the boat first
The giant-squid payday: repair before splitting. A broken boat strands the whole crew tomorrow; whoever grabs cash first buys the repair — community arbitration precedent.
