45m · The Angler Nest
Dense anglerfish shoals and rows of wrecks. Lore note: every wreck capsized the SAME direction — against the deep current. Extend that line and it points at the door.
The trench, the sunken izakaya, the radio logs, three theories.

Dense anglerfish shoals and rows of wrecks. Lore note: every wreck capsized the SAME direction — against the deep current. Extend that line and it points at the door.
A fully intact sunken izakaya: counter, bottles, a handwritten menu on the wall. The community transcribed it — the last line reads "today's deepest". The kasa-hat regular orders in the exact same words.
Five dead buoys numbered 1-5. Each triggers a radio recording (table below). Lore-team finding: the voice calls this place "the shop", and the recordings are out of chronological order.
The trench's current end. Light under the seam, hollow echo on knocking (a chamber, not rock). Every known interaction fails. The door-frame scratches, enlarged, match the izakaya menu's handwriting.
Buoy 2
"...deep stock today. The customers will be pleased."
A calm routine report. Note the word "stock" — he is describing fish in freight vocabulary.
Buoy 4
"Behind the door... bigger than I thought. The menu needs rewriting."
The only mention of the door. The watershed: key-theorists call this proof a key exists; placeholder-theorists call it EA patch notes in disguise.
Buoy 1
"If you are hearing this, stop fixing the buoys. They were always for you."
Second person appears for the first time. Consensus: the recordings address not a colleague but the next diver — the player.
Buoy 5
(long water sounds) "...no service today."
4m11s, almost all water. One player listened 40 times and swears there is a whispered "thank you" under it. The spectrogram shows a peak; the word is not recoverable.
Buoy 3
"Do not sell bottle five. That one is for the road home."
Matches the izakaya wall: sake bottle #5, one empty slot among five. Who drank the last one?
⚠️ Full lore spoilers and three theories below. Turn back before your second run — though nobody has ever "re-run" this game yet.
The voice is the sunken izakaya's owner; behind the door is his shop's interior — or the shop itself. Evidence: 1) door-frame scratches match the menu's hand; 2) Buoy 3's "bottle five" maps to the izakaya rack exactly; 3) the kasa-hat regular ordering "today's deepest" — not a customer but a returning memory. In this reading, your sushi bar is that shop, reincarnated.
Buoy 1's "always for you" is literal: the voice is YOU — a player who already finished a loop. Evidence: 1) the scrambled log order is not damage, it IS the loop; 2) codex slot 41 is empty because fish 41 requires you to "become it"; 3) data miners found an achievement named "Home" with an EMPTY unlock field. In this reading, behind the door is the first night the shop ever opened.
The Deep Blue is not a place; it is a presence. The angler lamps, the full-moon window, the storm spawns — all of it is "writing the menu". Evidence: 1) every wreck faces the door against the current — the current itself points; 2) Buoy 5's spectrogram peak matches the anglerfish lamp flicker frequency; 3) the devs replied with one eyes emoji — not a refusal, the answer itself. In this reading, your shop is the Deep Blue's shallow-water branch.
▸ This site takes no side. All three share one core: the game is not named "sushi simulator" — it is named the DEEP BLUE. The door will open eventually; it is on the EA roadmap.
